Inflammation is one of the body’s protective tools. When you cut your finger or fight an infection, inflammatory signals help call immune cells to the scene. That short-term response is useful. Problems can arise when inflammatory activity becomes persistent, poorly regulated or tied to long-term disease risk.

A healthy immune system is not simply stronger. It is better regulated. It needs to respond when there is a genuine threat and settle down when the job is done. Sleep, nutrition, movement, smoking status, alcohol intake, stress, infections and chronic conditions can all influence this balance.
The everyday foundations are familiar because they are still the foundations: fibre-rich foods, regular activity, enough sleep, vaccination where appropriate, good dental care and medical support for ongoing symptoms.

Many products use inflammation as a marketing word. Some foods and habits are associated with better health patterns, but no single tea, supplement or diet can promise to erase inflammation. If symptoms are persistent, severe or unexplained, proper medical assessment matters.
